We have finally reached Nebraska, and we drove through our first real storm on the plains! We both love to watch a good storm, but we were a little hesitant having Aunt Glady in tow. It all went fine, but we wanted to share with you some photos. I took them from inside the truck, so they aren’t the best. We were driving on some back roads in Southeastern Nebraska at the time, on our way to Beatrice.
Awesome photos of the storm clouds. Your before- and after- pictures of the RV are fantastic. It is so neat that you documented the transition.
Thanks! I’ve always loved a good before and after pic! We lucked out with that storm, approaching it I thought we were going to get hammered but we wound up sneaking by the north side of it and just getting heavy rain. Close call! – Chris
“Wasn’t that a mighty storm”
Great pictures, really could feel that storm closing in especially with the darkness in that last one.
So glad you posted the before and after photos of the trailer. You did a great job! And your travelogue is so interesting. You both are learning a lot about the cultural history of America. Thanks for sharing with your fans.
Love the blog and all the pics! You guys are amazing!
