7 Month Anniversary! (Includes our RV Tour)

We are spending the month of February in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  It was less than a 2 hour drive from Destin, and the beaches are still beautiful.  For our anniversary video this month, we decided to include a tour of our rv, so the video is longer than we usually do.  There is an intro before the tour that talks more about where we are currently staying, and what we will be up to over the next month!  Enjoy…

About Jen

I love travel, which led me to become a fulltime RVer. I love wellness, which I can talk about 'til the cows come home. I love being self-employed, which means I get to dabble in what interests me from essential oils to RV planners. But most importantly, I love my husband and our life together on the road!

  1. Happy 7 months Anny Y’all! So happy that you are liking the campground in Gulf Shores! I knew you would, and am psyched that you are jumping right in and participating in all the fun stuff they have for the guests. The game and gathering room is so huge there; the campground is gorgeous and people that run it are so nice. I agree, it is much nicer than Destin, and less expensive if I recall from out last trip. Loved the tour, you have done a great job creating your home on wheels. I see Chris has grown a winter beard since we last saw you in Nov. You guys look great, am happy you had a wonderful Christmas at home with your family. We just got back from a trip up to Portland Maine to see the kids and granddaughter. We flew as it was only a short visit over MLK weekend…and were reminded why we love RVing so much…and dislike flying : ) Enjoy Gulf Shores, they have the prettiest beaches and whitest sand on the whole gulf coast (In my humble opinion…) Hope to bump into you on your adventures sometime in the future! Happy New Year and God Bless!

    • Hey, Cindy! We are so pleasantly surprised by how nice Gulf Shores is! Love it! Glad to hear your travels went well – I was thinking about you over that weekend. Yes, Chris is looking a lot fuzzier lately 🙂 He goes in spurts with it. So good to hear from you! (Sorry about the Pats – they almost pulled it out in the end – we were thinking of you.)

      • Hi there again!
I would not have steered you wrong about Gulf Shores…I think it is less crowded as well. The campground is much nicer as well (imho). The difference is we got to meet y’all (which made it a very special trip) and Jeff has his classes.
No worries about the Pats; too many injuries and they would not be able to stop Cam Newton. Needless to say, we am rooting for Carolina as Cam is an Auburn graduate. I’m sure there will be a big gathering in the clubhouse at Sugar Sands.
Do enjoy your last couple weeks, and if you need an overnight on your upcoming travels, we are just a few hundred miles north of you!

        • Thanks, Cindy! You are so kind, and by the way, your blackberry jam was outstanding!!! Chris couldn’t stop eating it – he was putting it on everything! It was getting a little ridiculous! Seriously, you make jam with the best of them; and even more special knowing that you picked all those wild berries. We really savored it. They are having a Super Bowl Party here at the resort, so I will let you know who is loyal to the home QB 🙂
